Končar’s transformers for Vattenfall
Končar Power Transformers Ltd. (KPT) has announced a new business collaboration with Vattenfall Eldistribution AB.

Croatia, Zagreb/Sweden, Stockholm: Končar Power Transformers Ltd. (KPT) has announced a new business collaboration with Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, a major European energy company within the Vattenfall Group. As part of this partnership, KPT will deliver two 500 MVA transformers (415/140/0.42 kV) to the Hagby substation, located north of Stockholm, Sweden.
The first transformer has successfully passed factory testing and is currently en route to the substation site. The second unit is scheduled for testing in January 2025.
KPT anticipates field challenges due to winter conditions but remains confident in the successful execution of the project. The company sees this collaboration as the foundation for a long-term partnership with Vattenfall Eldistribution AB. It credited the successful progress of the project to the dedication and teamwork of its staff.
