New $20 M transmission line in North Dakota
USA: A $20 M transmission line is helping improve access to reliable electricity in Minot, at the airbase, and in rural areas of North Dakota.
Central Power Electric Cooperative recently finished a 43 km long transmission line starting southwest of Minot and traveling north, connecting to a substation east of Ruthville.
Verendrye Electric uses the line to serve the areas.
The project provides a 115 kV transmission line bringing another source of electrical capacity to the region.
