Kyrgyzstan: Shenzhen Energy Group has signed deals to construct and operate a 300 MW wind farm and a 300 MW solar power plant in Kyrgyzstan. The deals were signed during the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to China on February 5, when various investment agreements in the energy sector were finalized in Beijing. They were part of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Natural Resources of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Commerce of China. According to a joint statement, the agreements open new prospects for energy cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, contributing to the development of renewable energy sources, attracting investment, and strengthening energy security.
