China: Sinovoltaics has launched its first Mainland China Transformer Factories Map, listing 128 manufacturers to help solar developers tackle supply bottlenecks.

With transformer shortages delaying solar projects, the Dutch-German BESS and PV compliance firm provides this free resource with factory locations, contacts, and insights for efficient procurement.

Transformers are crucial for grid integration, but global supply chain disruptions and high demand have extended procurement lead times to three years, according to NEMA.

“The ability to source transformers efficiently is now a priority,” said Arthur Claire, Sinovoltaics’ Director of Technology. “This map helps developers connect with suppliers, easing procurement challenges.”

The directory includes factory details across China and may expand to other countries in future editions. Sinovoltaics also offers independent quality assurance services to prevent defective equipment from causing further delays.
