Brazil: WEG is providing advanced asset management solutions to a major home appliance manufacturer, supporting its production capacity expansion while strengthening operational safety and reliability.

As part of the project, WEG will supply dry-type transformers to replace existing oil-filled units. The transformers feature forced ventilation for improved thermal dissipation and an IP23 enclosure to enhance operational protection. These upgrades are key to ensuring consistent power supply during the plant’s new operational phase.

The units will be integrated with WEG’s Industrial Transformer Specialist technology, enabling digital monitoring through the Transformer Fleet Management platform. This system provides real-time data access, multi-level analysis, and diagnostics, allowing both individual assets and the full transformer fleet to be managed more strategically.

Interactive dashboards, AI applications, and automated reporting facilitate predictive maintenance, helping the customer anticipate potential failures and optimise asset performance.

By combining smart monitoring with advanced transformer design, WEG supports operational efficiency, safety, and lifecycle cost reduction. The solution also aligns with the manufacturer’s growth strategy and R&D-focused culture, enabling modernisation, new job creation, and improved market competitiveness.

Through this initiative, WEG strengthens its role as a strategic partner for industrial players pursuing expansion, modernisation, and digital transformation, demonstrating its commitment to intelligent asset management and reliable energy infrastructure.
