In this e-lesson you will learn how PSTs impact the physical power flows in interconnected networks. You will also learn how these effects can be used as non-costly remedial action and to control unwanted and unscheduled cross-border flows. To maximize the benefits of PSTs they have to be placed and operated properly which will also be dealt with in this lesson.
You will also learn about different classification of categories for PST, design factors and Criteria for OLTC selection and adaption for PST.
